Gameday
Well, it's Gameday!! We have been anxiously awaiting this day all week. Chris, Kirk and Lee will be on at 9am, and we are thrilled.
Mom has suffered a few more consequences of the chemotherapy this time around but has still managed to make it through like the trooper she is. She has had less energy and less appetite which translates into a lot of naps. To me that is not such a bad thing, it makes the hospital time go faster. :-) This morning we are beginning a serious countdown to discharge. The last bag has been hung and there is only one night left to go.
The next 10 to 14 days will be filled with Neupogen injections to boost her blood count followed by the harvesting of her stem cells. During that time Mom will remain in Dallas and surely keep in touch via e-mail and phone calls.
Have a great Saturday and enjoy the cooler weather! Thanks for your prayers and warm thoughts that are carrying us through each day.
Hook'em,
Erin

How did you guys like the game? Colt McCoy did an awfully good job for a freshman starter. Now, let's see what will happen against Ohio State.
I hope that Paula has been discharged today and that she'll have an opportunity to gain strength each new day before the harvest begins. Please let us know if there is anything she needs done in MP.
Our prayers continue. Keep the faith.

Paula,
It was good to see you at your office last week. I pray this will soon all be behind you and we will see you there daily.

Hello, dear Wilhites...
Paula, I hope you are back at home by now, but still resting as needed and letting the chemo do its work. Things are fine here - I had a good vacation last week, but was ready to get back to business! Miss you, and continue to pray for all things good coming your way.
Hugs,
Betsy
