Welcome to Paula's Progress

The Wilhites are at the Richardson Regional Medical Center near 75 & Campbell in Room 523B. Upon arrival Mom was feeling very stiff, but after a day and a half of TLC she is getting around a bit better. :-)

Dr. Barry Levinson is Mom's doctor. If that name sounds familiar, it is because he was Dad's oncologist. You all know how well that turned out, so we know we are in good hands. After this journey with Mom is complete, we think it will be clear that Mom and Dad's purpose in life was to build Dr. Levinson's career!

We will report more when we know more, but for now wanted to say Howdy to everyone and give you a chance to bookmark the new site. Thank you for your phone calls and prayers and we look forward to seeing you very soon.

Cheers
Mica

Thanks for setting up this blog! Technology will help share our thoughts with Paula and hers with us throughout this journey. Paula, you are in such amazing physical condition and have a loving and giving spirit that will see you through this obstacle. Add that to your faith, your family, your friends, your colleagues and students and we can predict an outcome of victory.
Please know that you can count on me and your NTCC family to assist in any way possible, to pray, to vist, to water plants, to share the latest news, to make sure your message of "math is fun" to those who still question that idea, and to just be here for you. We love you dearly, JJ

Hey girl! I'm going to start thinking that you just wanted to be the center of attention! Anyone who can walk 60 miles in a weekend is one tough cookie and this challenge will be one more for you to rack up in your "I DID IT" column. I love you as one of my dearest professional and personal friends. Keep the faith. See you soon! Mary

Paula, I sure hate to hear this. You know my heart, prayers and thoughts go with you as you begin this fight and you are a fighter, so fight hard and win.

    Dear Paula -
God stepped in and helped us through the cantata on Sunday. HE is the only one who could take your place in keeping us all singing together. Roy really had to work those arms to keep us on the beat of that cd recording. Our prayers are with you and your family. Enda
